Surgical Suites
Our portfolio includes numerous perioperative departments and surgical suites, spanning both hospital-based and ambulatory surgery facilities. Our process begins with a careful analysis of volumes, utilization, advancements in technology, processes, and the flow of patients/materials.
EDUCATION CENTERS
CRGA's education center experience includes conferencing facilities for staff and patient education services and simulation labs that allow hands-on staff training for practicing procedures and general patient care.
CORPORATE/ADMINISTRATIVE
CRGA has designed corporate and administrative office space for the majority of our healthcare and government clients, encompassing more than one million square feet of office space.
Hospital Campus Lodging
CRGA has designed on-campus lodging for various healthcare systems. These facilities provide affordable, temporary residential housing on the hospital's main campus for patients and their families receiving medical care.
Oncology
CRGA understands the technical requirements of oncology spaces and places equal emphasis on creating an environment that caters to the patient's condition and fosters privacy and dignity. Our environments focus on the care of the patient and not the disease.
Physician Practices
Our staff has become specialists in developing effective designs for physician office suites, having completed 400+ projects of this type. Our experience ranges from primary care to suites for specialists that often include an ambulatory surgery center or procedure suite as a component of the design.
FOOD SERVICE
CRGA has extensive experience with food service design within healthcare and senior living facilities. We recognize the importance of creating a welcoming environment for patients, residents, families and staff that provides nourishment through quality foods and offers a relaxing space to reflect and re-energize during one’s time in the space.
Women's Services
Our extensive experience includes satellite women’s imaging centers, breast centers, women’s surgical units, labor and delivery units, ante- and post-partum units, and mid-wife birthing centers.
Support Departments
Support departments are an important component of patient care. CRGA has extensive experience with support departments such as information technology, laboratory services, pharmacy services, materials management, central sterile processing, and environmental services.
EMERGENCY MEDICINE
Our firm’s understanding of emergency medicine allows us to work closely with staff, utilizing LEAN techniques and other processes to design a framework that facilitates effective care in a dignified and confidential manner.
IMAGING
Our firm’s extensive portfolio of imaging projects range from very sophisticated interventional rooms in acute care settings to outpatient, off-campus facilities. Our goal is develop a project that respects patient privacy and dignity, while also improving throughput and staffing effectiveness.
Parking Garages
CRGA understands the importance of providing parking that is easily accessible and has clear way-finding to the various building entries, since parking facilities are often the beginning of the patient’s or visitor’s on-campus experience. Our firm’s portfolio includes new garages, expanded garages, and remedial repairs to existing garages.
Senior Living
CRGA is comprised of a team of individuals who are compassionate about the design of senior living communities and all elements along the continuum of care that touch the lives of seniors.
Cardiac Care
CRGA has been involved in numerous cardiac care related projects including EP and cardiac cath labs, open-heart operating rooms utilizing a heart institute model, cardiac critical care units, diagnostic labs, cardiac rehabilitation suites, and physician suites for cardiologists.
Pharmacies
CRGA has completed dozens of pharmaceutical design projects both in retail and acute care settings. Our designers are well versed in the technical knowledge needed and we often work with clients to facilitate USP Compliance.
Heliports
Our firm has completed a number of helipad projects including retrofitting the roof of two of our clients' existing buildings to construct new helipads. We understand the FAA and code requirements necessary to successfully complete this very specific project type.
Rehabilitation
Our portfolio includes a significant number of orthopaedic practices and both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitative centers.
PEDIATRICS
Our pediatric portfolio includes both inpatient and outpatient pediatric facilities, ranging from the smallest of infants (NICU Level Three Plus) to inpatient pediatric rehabilitation units. Whether designing an office for a pediatrician or developing a pediatric emergency department, our goal is to effectively provide care in an environment that minimizes the clinical nature of the space.
Signage & Wayfinding
CRGA offers in-house signage and wayfinding services to assist our clients in implementing navigation systems that promote an efficient, productive, and supportive environment for the end users.

It is important to CRGA that the buildings and projects we design for our clients contribute to the health of the community. Whether or not a project will seek LEED certification, sustainable design practices are a fundamental component of our firm’s work.
