About the Project
CRGADESIGN undertook the phased imaging equipment upgrades within Cath Labs 3 and 4 with meticulous planning and attention to detail. The primary focus of this phase was to accommodate the installation of new ceiling-mounted Philips “Azurion 7 C12” equipment while ensuring seamless integration with MedStar Standards and the recent renovations in adjacent areas. This required a comprehensive understanding of both the technical specifications of the new equipment and the aesthetic requirements of the facility.
In parallel with the equipment upgrades, CRGA executed finish upgrades that aligned with MedStar Standards and complemented the surrounding renovated areas. This involved the redesign of existing millwork with new components that matched the updated finish standards and accommodated the functional program.
Furthermore, CRGA prioritized the replacement of all existing lights with energy-efficient LED fixtures, aligning with sustainability principles while meeting the functional requirements of the Cath Labs. The team also addressed miscellaneous electrical work as dictated by the functional program, ensuring that the lighting and electrical systems were optimized to support the operation of the new equipment and enhance the overall workspace environment. By maintaining focus on the specified parameters, the team minimized disruptions to ongoing operations while successfully completing the phased imaging equipment upgrades and associated finish enhancements within Cath Labs #3 and #4. The integrated space met both technical requirements and aesthetic standards, reflecting CRGA Design’s commitment to excellence in healthcare design.
