Lenita Eldhose, EDAC, LEED GA, Associate IIDA (Interior designer at CRGA Design) and IIDA MAC Chapter Advocacy Co- chair, along with Clairanne Pesce NCIDQ, CHID, WELL AP, LEED AP and Samantha Geraci, IIDA, CID, presenting to the PLAID (Propelling Leadership + Advocacy in Interior Design, is IIDA Mid Atlantic Chapter’s Emerging Designer Leadership Program) design community on the importance of Advocacy in the profession of Interior Design - Achieving NCIDQ certification and in turn, registering themselves as Licensed designers in their respective states.
They also discussed various avenues that each designer can pursue to achieve this while also raising awareness on the integral role that Interior Designers play in helping achieve client visions and community development.
